Description
The farmhouse Tana dei Lupi in Norcia, located on the slopes of Monte Patino , was born near family`s farm, which includes the breeding of animals, mostly cows for milk and meat.
It is a structure immersed in the greenery of National Park of Mount Sibillini, about 2 kilometers from the center Nursino , famous both from a historical point of view , already known in Roman times , both from a religious point of view , birthplace St. Benedict of Nursia , patron of Europe today , both from a naturalistic point of view, with the plateau of Castelluccio and the Sibillini Mountains, both from a culinary point of view and the food , well-known legumes and cereals in the area, the Truffle Precious Black Norcia ham PGI and all meats in general made by the "norcini", a trade that takes its name from the inhabitants "of Norcia".
The interiors of our rooms are treated in detail thanks to a rustic decor, with its ancient stone vaults, which help to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The house is surrounded by small dirt roads, where you can safely walk in the green that characterizes our region and meet with small animals such as squirrels, hedgehogs and pheasants, it is not at all difficult.
